Resignation of Cllr. J Boakes

The Parish Council regretfully announce that Councillor Jackie Boakes has resigned as a Parish Councillor. Cllr Boakes had served the Parish Council and the community for many years. We would like to thank her for her time and commitment.

At present we are unable to initiate the casual vacancy process due to Covid-19 restrictions. We expect to be able to advertise in April 2021 and we will have four vacancies to fill when we do so.

If anyone is thinking about becoming a Parish Councillor to help serve our community, the next few months would be a good time to come (virtually) and observe the monthly meeting and join in the public session.

If you have skills you feel are appropriate or just a wish to benefit the Parish, there are opportunities to join one of the working groups.

Please contact Councillor Jane Dodson on  or any Councillor, and don’t let this enforced delay hold you back.

Resignation of Cllr. E. Norman

We have to announce the resignation of Cllr Emma Norman but we will not be entirely losing her valuable input as she has offered to be an associate member of the Communications Group going forward. As the Government has put an embargo on elections until next May we will hold off advertising a casual vacancy for the present.
