Community Car Park

We’re pleased to say that the construction of the community car park at Datchworth crossroads is getting underway this week. Having received planning permission, and after 18 months of extensive legal and administrative work, the car park will be cleared and rebuilt.

By the end of the summer we’ll have a fully functioning car park with a storage unit and provision for electric vehicle charging points. It will make that part of our village safer and less cluttered as it will offer parking for visitors to the Green and, we hope, a boost to the local businesses; the pubs, shop and coffee shop.
