There are three defibrillators in the parish:
Datchworth Village Hall,
Datchworth Green, SG3 6TL
in a vandal-proof cabinet next to the main entrance.
Datchworth Sports Club,
Datchworth Green, SG3 6TL
in a vandal-proof cabinet at the front of the building (see pictures below).
Burnham Green Village Hall,
14 Orchard Rd, AL6 0HW
in a vandal-proof cabinet the the side of the building (see pictures below).
HOW TO ACCESS
In an emergency: dial 999, tell the operator the number on the front of the cabinet and they’ll give you the security code to get inside.
HOW TO USE
999 operator will help you if you need it (as well as getting an ambulance on the way).
But, it’s really intuitive to use. You can’t wrongly deliver a shock (the machine decides) and it improves the survival rate in heart attack victims.
